Why it helps
Make cross-border availability concrete.
Instead of translating a time in your head, compare the two actual working windows for one date. This is useful for recurring handoffs, live calls and setting a realistic response expectation with clients.
Common examples
- Manila to New York often creates a late-evening PHT window.
- Karachi to London commonly creates an afternoon PKT overlap.
- US daylight saving time can move the overlap by one local hour.

Time zone overlap questions
Does the calculator handle daylight saving time?
Yes. The calculation uses the browser time-zone database for the selected date, so US and European seasonal clock changes are reflected automatically.
Can I calculate an overnight shift?
Yes. If the end time is earlier than the start time, the tool treats the work window as crossing midnight in that time zone.
Is my schedule sent to a server?
No. The calculation runs in this browser tab. The site does not send your schedule to an AI service or save it in browser storage.
